WildHorse has two projects in Wyoming, the major energy producing state in the United States – Sweetwater and Bison Basin.
Both projects are located in the Red Desert Region of Wyoming. The mineralisation in the area is contained in roll-front deposits and the host rock is permeable sandstone.
The Sweetwater Project encompasses 11,880 acres of land containing historic uranium mineralisation trends. These trends run alongside the Sweetwater uranium mine and mill complex (the largest uranium mill in the US), owned by Rio Tinto Energy America.
The Bison Basin Project consists of 12,200 acres which covers a large part of the area that was previously operated by Ogle Petroleum’s ISR recovery mine. Both the Sweetwater and Bison Basin projects will be evaluated for their potential as ISR operations.
