South America

WildHorse has an early development project underway in South America, in an established uranium belt in the Parana Basin. This region of South America has supported uranium mines in nearby Brazil and Argentina, with a nuclear power industry that is set to expand rapidly. WildHorse believes it has an excellent opportunity to develop a new uranium province in the Paraguayan segment of the Basin.

Paraguay

Key Achievements

  • Granted concessions for 3,500 km2 of leases.
  • Drilled 18 reconnaissance holes confirming mineralisation in area of at least 30km2, with the potential for the discovery of significant uranium mineralisation.
  • Downhole gamma logging results include 3.7m @ 190 ppm eU3O8 3, 2.8m @ 200 ppm eU3O8, and 1.3m @ 210 ppm eU3O8, at depths ranging from 65m to 159m.
  • Extensive work into local communities to provide support and education on future potential for mining.

Next Steps

  • Complete comprehensive geological mapping and sampling programs.
  • Complete reconnaissance drilling programs
  • Select most prospective areas for license renewal and plan infill and resource definition programs.
  • Determine potential for farm-in partner for the next stage.
  • Further evaluation of the extensive historical data to confirm several potential targets.
  • Undertake infill drilling and drilling of other target areas.

3eU3O8 refers to the equivalent U3O8 grade. This is estimated from gross-gamma downhole measurements corrected for water and drilling mud in each hole. These results are provisional upon the application of calibration correction factors which are determined from geochemical analysis. Geochemical analysis may show higher or lower amounts of actual U3O8, the difference being referred to as disequilibrium. A positive disequilibrium as noted in this report indicates the actual content of U3O8 is higher than the that measured downholes.
