The Company has assembled a highly experienced board of operational and corporate specialists and a world-class management team of UCG experts in order to rapidly advance its burgeoning portfolio of UCG projects.

The Company’s management team was significantly strengthened through the appointment of highly experienced internationally recognised leaders in coal gasification and UCG, Mr. Johan Brand and Mr. Peter van Vuuren. Both Mr. Brand and Mr. van Vuuren are previous employees of Sasol Synfuels Pty Ltd, the world’s leading coal gasification company. Additionally, Mr. Andries du Plooy, formerly employed by Eskom, has joined the team as Senior UCG Geologist.  These appointments complemented Wildhorse’s existing management team which includes Dr. Michael Green, a recognised pioneer in UCG technology.

The Company has also forged relationships with key industry professionals to facilitate the development of its UCG projects. Wildhorse acquired specialist market leading UCG technology intellectual property from African Carbon Energy Pty Limited (Africary), a South African UCG development company.
